About Me

I live with my son Matthew. We are actively involved in our local community and church. My Son is very busy and enjoys doing almost everything; he is so much fun to spend time with.
He keeps me active, and I am often coaching youth baseball, basketball, football, hockey, softball, and camping with the Scouts in my spare time. I also enjoy playing Golf, Racquetball, Mountain Biking, Watching Football, Snow Skiing, Fishing, Hunting, and Scuba Diving when we have time. We are very much at home in the Mountains, and on the Beaches. We believe strongly in supporting the American Cancer Society, and assisting with local youth organizations with their needs.

Why Me

Since entering the Mortgage industry in 1995, I have been an invaluable, trusted resource for our clients. I specialize in providing mortgage education, information, and services to clients that enable them to make informed mortgage decisions.

I was born and raised In Hueytown, AL., and enjoyed the athletics and church activities provided there. I spent most of my summer and winter breaks from school, on Lake Guntersville, and others on fishing trips on the Gulf of Mexico. After High School, I attended Auburn University where I majored in Electrical Engineering. I began my mortgage career in Birmingham, AL, as a mortgage broker, worked as a Branch Manager, Area Manager, and served as a regional manager. My responsibilities were varied and included making the coffee from time to time, to expanding and opening new office locations throughout Alabama. Our company started with an office of four employees, and expanded to nine branch offices in just 24 months. I spent a year in an attorney’s office assisting in title research and preparing closing packages. My career also includes serving in the Corporate Lending arena for 18 years in several positions as a Lending Officer. These combined experiences provided a varied background and a great understanding of the entire mortgage loan process from origination to funding.

I earned membership into the Success and Presidents Clubs for excellence from 2003 to 2017, and served as a State Director for State of Tennessee, representing the Rutherford County Home Builder’s Association. I am active in the Home Builders Association, The Rotary Club, Chamber of Commerce,and The Middle Tennessee Association of Realtors. We enjoy a fast-paced life and find it greatly rewarding,and very satisfying in assisting and helping others.
